MJ should now have appropriate pauses whenever the computer players complete an action (eg, discarding, claiming, melding). Almost all of the doubles scoring rules are ready except for one corner case that I am aware of. However, it will take quite a bit more code, so I want to put out the latest which, with the computer pauses, is much nicer to play.
Previously, the computer players could claim and discard tiles without pausing. In the situation where computer players have several claims in a row, it was hard to see who claimed or discarded what. The computer players now have a few more pauses before the next actions. Still need to add a couple more but will require some more serious code reorganization. The README manual had a significant revising, including adding more scoring rule details.
The game of 麻雀 has many scoring rules, approximately 50-80 depending upon the rule set. Chinese classical has about 50 among three broad categories: points, doubles, and limit. The first public builds of MJ until 011 contained most of the points and some doubles rules. With build 012, all points and most doubles rules are supported.
