Some things I had wanted to mention:
MJ has improved graphics where virtually all screen elements are scaled proportionally and more precisely, so everything should look just right. Besides minor improvements, one important bug fix is for the melded tiles display.
The latest MJ build includes several bug fixes and restores button tool tips, but the main new feature is more Oblivious discard strategy levels. I could continue tweaking my formulae and adding more levels, but I think it is getting to the point of diminishing returns. The next few enhancements will probably take a chunk of time before the next build.
The first publicly released build of MJ was almost a year ago, and this is a birthday celebration in more ways than one. The main playing window has been updated with fully proportional graphics (try resizing it). Besides numerous bug fixes, each player now has a counter to track consecutive wins, and gong sets have an updated display to indicate whether it was concealed (暗). I continue revising the manual; hopefully it is clear.
As it turns out, the first
publicly released build of MJ was one year ago. Since the last build, a few more bug fixes but also significant updates to the manual. I have been learning several new Chinese words and including them in the manual along with some corrected translations. Okay, back to optimizing the screen resizing…
